Roxanne has been teaching music to my 6 year old for 2 years and has just started with my 4 year old. Both of them absolutely adore her, and look forward to their weekly lessons. Before we started, she told me that she would teach the kids music theory, and they wouldn't even know they were learning. It was true! Every week is a new game that has kept them focused, and taught them music essentials, while having fun. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Roxanne. She is a great teacher, and has become a great friend. Her energy and vitality has filled our home with a love for music, and that is priceless!

Confidence Booster has helped me connect big time with that little shy girl that always hung back.. kept a low profile, sat in the back of the room not wanting to draw attention to herself. I am now singing in a motown group thanks to Roxanne , belting out songs with abandon, strutting my stuff , all glammed up .. having a ball.. I am 64. Never too late

1. No matter how I feel when I arrive for my voice lesson, I leave feeling refreshed and confident that I can take myself to the next step. Roxanne is perceptive and knows how to motivate people to realistically achieve their potential.
2. When I first met Roxanne I had been asked to occasionally lead worship at my church, but didn't feel that my voice could do the job. I had a very small range and my voice was much lower than most songs we sing. Within a month I was able to sing five notes higher and I've made even more progress in the past 9 months. I also began to learn how to be able to play the keyboard AND sing effectively. The biggest change, however was my confidence that I could sing in front of people and that stems from something beyond vocal technique. That confidence has also impacted other areas of my life, including my work. Roxanne is able to see the potential in people and encourages them to meet that potential.

I was 'fine'. I didn't need Roxanne's confidence boosting, all I wanted to do was be able to sing in tune and not embarrass myself. I dreaded some of her exercises that meant I had to sing 'whatever I felt like' . Most of the time I would either sing nothing or stick to one note - you can't be embarrassed by that! Little by little, along with the encouragement of my Tonette sisters, I started feeling safe and more comfortable in myself. I wasn't afraid to sing out and I even tried harmonizing on my own! That was a real step forward for me.
With laughter and music, Roxanne has helped me come out of myself and has brought joy and fun back into my life. I wish I could continue my journey under her wing but alas I must return to my home in the West.
Roxanne, I will miss your strong commitment to helping us - the love and faith that you share with us.

It all began with this simple statement spoken to a friend. "I would like to find my voice." A conversation with Roxanne was arranged shortly thereafter. I am learning to use my voice with the authority given to me by God. This is exciting. But, the thing that astounded me was that Roxanne knew me the moment she saw me. She saw my core and correctly named me a "Tiger". I was not at all surprised by this assertion. I knew who I was inside, even though I portrayed a timid young woman. God has given Roxanne many gifts, and she willingly and joyfully shares those gifts with her students. God has used Roxanne to encourage me to be the unique person that God has created.

Through Confidence Booster Roxanne has taught me to love myself and to open up my heart using my voice and freeing my spirit even when I feel unworthy and think the rest of the world will judge me. In my every day I do this with my head up and my shoulders back - even in the most daunting moments. I would not have said this a year ago.
